We were created to love God and each other.  Satan’s major objective is to destroy relationships and he employs the spirit of rejection as a major weapon.  He embeds the big lie that we are not loved inside every traumatic event in our lives.  Once we believe the lie, we feel rejected and become spiritual orphans – trying to earn God’s love through our own efforts.  It is a real killer.
